The general theme for the Mid Rivers Risk Forum (MRRF) is to support the complexity of being a Risk Manager in today’s changing world. To accommodate such a discussion, MRRF has broken the forum into General Sessions which will address the overall world Risk Managers are navigating and Breakout Session with three tracks:

 

• Growing out of the traditional risk transfer market
  This training track is designed for risk managers seeking to innovate and adapt in a rapidly evolving market. Participants will explore emerging trends, digital transformation, and strategies that challenge traditional insurance models. 
   

• Risks retention: the considerations and reward 
  This training track is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of risk retention as an alternative to traditional insurance models. Designed for risk managers, finance professionals, and business leaders, participants will explore the strategic advantages and potential risk of self-insuring. 
   

• Strategies for captive owners
  This training track is tailored for professionals involved or looking to be involved in captive insurance management by offering in-depth insight and practical strategies to optimize captive operations. Participants will learn how to effectively navigate the complexities of captive ownership, enhance financial performance, and align captives with organizational goals.
